Tackle and Rig: century fs 31/2tc, shimano super ultegras loaded with 12lb line, 3oz inline lead with 6inch korda supernatural to a size 8 fox hook

Story: I arrived to the venue for an afternoon session (as i managed to blag the time off work) and did a quick lap of the lake. I managed to find some fish on the first lap in a small bay. I quickly tied up a small pva bag with a bottom bait and lowered it onto their patrol route. Within 10 minutes the largest of the bunch (for once) slipped up and a 20 minute battle commenced. On the bank i weighed the fish at 37lb on the nose. I'm pleased as it was my first from the lake.
