Story: After bagging my 1st target fish of the year, the snub nose mirror, it was time to focus my attentions to the yellow fish. It is not easy to single out fish on the roach pit or even track them, however, luckily for me i found her one day in a set of snags up the shallow snagier end. After watching her for a few days it was clear that she was getting in the snags early afternoon and leaving just before dark. I decided that rather than fish the snags during the day and risk loosing the fish, possibly blowing my only chance of landin her i would fish the open water spots near by at night. There are 3 main sets of snags on the roach and she was moving around all three normally doing a couple of days in one before moving. It was just a case of spending the afternoons finding her then getting the rods ready for the night as close as possible. After nearly 2 months of tracking and fishing the open water marks i finaly slipped the net under my prize!
